The Campagnolo Record 13 WRL Battery is the removable power cell for Campagnolo's wireless Record 13 groupset, which has no shift cables and communicates over Bluetooth. Each wireless derailleur carries its own battery, so you choose a front or a rear unit depending on which derailleur you need to power or replace. Campagnolo specifies up to 750 km on a single charge for its 13-speed batteries, which is enough that most riders will charge it only occasionally rather than before every ride.
Charging is done through a quick-snap magnetic port that works on or off the bike, with no special slot or adapter needed. A full charge takes about 60 minutes, and Campagnolo says more than 20% can be recovered in 10 minutes, which helps if you notice a low battery before a ride. The cable is a universal USB-C, and Campagnolo says it supports reverse charging, so in an emergency you can power a smartphone from the battery.
An integrated LED shows the charge level (green is charged, red is low). You can also check it through the MyCampy app or a compatible bike computer. If you ride a wireless Campagnolo groupset and want a spare, or you need to replace a worn battery, this is the part to order. Make sure you select the right position for your derailleur.
