DT Swiss Wheels - RA Cycles

DT Swiss Wheels

DT Swiss builds wheels from the ground up in Biel, Switzerland — spokes, hubs, rims, and complete wheelsets all designed and produced under one roof. That vertical integration matters: when every component is engineered to work together, the result is a wheel that's more consistent and easier to service than one assembled from parts. DT Swiss wheels appear on professional Tour de France bikes and Olympic mountain bike podiums, which tells you where the engineering priority sits.

RA Cycles stocks the performance DT Swiss range across disciplines: the ARC 1100 DiCut aero carbon series for road racing, the ARC 1400 for endurance road, the ERC 1400 for all-road and gravel, the GRC 1400 in both 700c and 650b for serious gravel riding, and the P1800 Spline alloy series for training and everyday use. Mountain bike options include the H1700 Spline wheelset and build-up rims for the XM 421 and A 510 platforms.

About DT Swiss

DT Swiss AG was founded in 1994 in Biel, Switzerland — a management buyout from Vereinigte Drahtwerke, a wire works company whose bicycle spoke production dates to 1934. The "DT" stands for Drahtwerke Tréfileries (wire works), and spokes remain central to the business: DT Swiss produces roughly 70% of the world's bicycle spoke supply from Biel. After the 1994 founding, the brand expanded methodically — hubs with the proprietary Ratchet System, rims in 2003, and complete integrated wheelsets from 2004. Today, 600 employees worldwide build wheels that appear in the Tour de France and Olympic mountain bike competition. Learn more at DT Swiss's official website.

RA Cycles stocks DT Swiss across road, gravel, and mountain disciplines. The ARC 1100 DiCut aero carbon series covers disc and rim brake applications in 50mm, 62mm, and 80mm depths — the top-end option for road racing and fast riding. The ERC 1400 addresses endurance and all-road disc use, while the GRC 1400 is available in both 700c and 650b for gravel. The P1800 Spline provides a durable alloy option for training and everyday riding, and the H1700 Spline covers 29" mountain bike applications. Build-up rims including the XM 421 and A 510 are also stocked for custom wheel builds.
