DT Swiss builds from the inside out — starting with spokes and hubs, then rims, then complete wheelsets — and that integrated approach shows in how the finished product performs. Founded in 1994 in Biel, Switzerland, DT Swiss brought precision manufacturing to cycling components at a time when most wheel systems were assembled from mismatched parts made by different hands.

The DT Swiss collection at RA Cycles spans the full ecosystem: complete road, gravel, and mountain bike wheelsets from the ARC 1100 DiCut aero series down to trail-ready MTB builds, plus the components that hold it all together — Star Ratchet kits, freehub bodies, spokes, nipples, bearings, and rims. Prices run from $0.25 for individual nipples to $2,795 for the ARC 1100 DiCut aero disc rear wheel.

About DT Swiss

DT Swiss was founded in 1994 in Biel, Switzerland — a management buyout from Vereinigte Drahtwerke, a wire manufacturer with roots in the region dating to 1634. The name reflects that heritage: “DT” stands for “Drahtwerke Tréfileries,” wireworks in German and French. In 1995, DT Swiss introduced the Ratchet hub — a patented mechanism using two interlocking toothed rings for simultaneous engagement, faster pickup, and exceptional durability under load. On the road side, the ARC 1100 DiCut is DT Swiss’s aero flagship — deep-section carbon with their DiCut rim profile for crosswind stability and outright speed. The PRC 1400 Spline is the climbing and all-rounder option, while the GRC 1400 brings the same carbon construction to gravel in both 700c and 650b. MTB riders have the M 1900 and E 1900 series for trail and enduro.
