CeramicSpeed OSPW RS 3D Titanium 20th Anniversary Shimano 9250/8150 Info

The CeramicSpeed OSPW RS 3D Titanium 20th Anniversary Shimano 9250/8150 is CeramicSpeed's limited-run tribute to two decades of pulley wheel engineering, and only 200 were made worldwide — 190 distributed to select dealers, the remaining 10 sold directly through CeramicSpeed. This version is built for Shimano's Dura-Ace R9250 and Ultegra R8150 Di2 drivetrains, running the same 13-tooth upper and 19-tooth lower pulley layout as CeramicSpeed's standard OSPW RS system, but with pulleys that are 3D printed from hollow titanium instead of machined aluminum. The hollow print process keeps the wheels light without sacrificing the stiffness a rigid pulley cage depends on, and the finished pulleys carry a diamond-like carbon coating for added wear resistance.

Each unit is individually numbered, with an "X of 200" etched into the back of the derailleur cage alongside a hand-laid dark prism 20th-anniversary logo — no two are stamped the same. Inside, hand-built coated ceramic bearings handle the friction reduction the OSPW system is built around, seated in the same cage geometry CeramicSpeed uses across its RS platform. The anniversary packaging includes a 608 bearing, a nod to the bearing size CeramicSpeed founder Jacob Csizmadia used in 1998 to break the 24-hour inline skating world record — the moment that led to the company's founding.

At $2,960, this isn't a pulley upgrade most riders buy for marginal gains alone — it's a collector's piece for someone who already runs CeramicSpeed and wants a numbered, limited-edition version of the system tied to the brand's history. RA Cycles is one of the authorized dealers carrying this edition for Shimano's 9250/8150 groupset. For a rider building a no-compromise drivetrain and looking for something no one else on the group ride has, the 20th Anniversary OSPW RS is as much a piece of cycling history as it is a functional upgrade.

The RA Perspective

We don't see many of these — CeramicSpeed only made 200 of the 20th Anniversary OSPW RS worldwide, and most of that run went straight to select dealers rather than sitting on a shelf. If you're the kind of rider who already runs CeramicSpeed bearings everywhere else on the bike, this is the version that makes sense to chase down.

The 3D-printed titanium construction is the real story here, not just the anniversary branding. Hollow titanium pulleys are a genuinely different manufacturing approach than the machined aluminum CeramicSpeed uses on its standard OSPW RS, and the numbered cage plate means the one you get is yours specifically, not one of an anonymous batch.

We'd be straightforward about who this is for: at just under $3,000, it's not a marginal-gains purchase in the traditional sense. The friction reduction comes from the same coated ceramic bearings CeramicSpeed uses across its lineup, so a standard OSPW RS gets you most of the functional benefit for a fraction of the price. What you're paying the premium for is the titanium build, the limited numbering, and owning a piece of the brand's 20-year history rather than just its current catalog.

If that's the appeal, this is exactly the piece to build a drivetrain around. If you're chasing pure watts-per-dollar, we'd point you toward the standard OSPW RS instead.
