Geco is Italian for the little lizard that can climb walls. Deda has developed the Geco Handlebar Tape to allow you to experience that kind of grip on your handlebars.

They first developed a means for adhering EVA foam to textured rubber. The foam is for comfort, the rubber for grip. Because too thin and too thick are both problematic, they decided to make the thickness 2.5mm, tapering down to less than 1mm on the sides to both give you a cushion and have the overlapping tape seem to lie flat on top of each other. They also went a step further and textured the grip to be a thin diamond-file pattern, better to let moisture move away from the tape and the nubs grip your hands or gloves.

The Deda Geco Handlebar Tape comes in a box with two 180cm rolls. Each roll is 30mm wide. The weight of the tape is 79g per set, uncut. The tape also comes with end plugs, finishing tape, and two pieces of tape to cover your brake lever clamps.
