The DMT MH10 Mtb Shoe is DMT's first hybrid knit mountain bike shoe, combining the brand's 3D Engineered Knit — the same knit technology built into its road shoes — with microfibre inserts for the extra structure and support off-road riding demands. Where a road shoe can rely on knit alone, the MH10 blends variable knit thickness with reinforced panels so the upper stays light and breathable without giving up the durability a trail shoe needs.
Closure comes from DMT's double BOA L6 Dial Z system, which manages the upper and lower zones of the shoe independently rather than pulling everything tight with a single dial. That means you can dial in tension around the midfoot separately from the ankle and heel area, and the dials themselves are built with a smaller diameter for a lower-profile fit. A microfibre heel cup and integrated webbing closure add structure around the heel to lock the foot in place during technical, out-of-the-saddle efforts.
Underfoot is DMT's Air Tech carbon sole with a Dual Compound outsole, built for both efficient power transfer and traction when you're off the bike pushing through technical sections. Cleats can be adjusted 8mm front-to-rear for riders who need to fine-tune foot position, and DMT reinforced the shoe with a new injected heel counter and a resistant coating on the toe cap to protect against the scuffs and impacts that come with off-road riding. Reflective logo details add a small measure of visibility if you're finishing a ride after dark.
At roughly 295 grams for a size 42, the MH10 is light for a shoe built with this level of reinforcement, and DMT backs it with the same 2-year warranty it puts on its full shoe lineup.
At $429.99, the MH10 is priced as DMT's step into knit technology for mountain biking rather than a budget option, and the hybrid knit-plus-microfibre upper is the shoe's main selling point over a fully synthetic MTB shoe: lighter and more breathable, with reinforcement added specifically where off-road riding needs it. It's a fit for XC and trail riders who want the comfort and ventilation benefits of a knit upper without giving up the structure a road-only knit shoe can't provide off-road.
