The Assos FF shashaGlove is the summer glove for people who want full finger protection in a summer glove. FF is for full finger. shasha is Assos’ new designation for their new-direction summer mitt. If you’ve ever wondered if you could have that kind of protection while staying cool, the answer is yes and found here.
The back is comprised of a strong, stretchy, breathable mesh fabric. The palm is made of an ultra-thin, grippy, durable synthetic leather, that is supplemented with thin, dense padding blocks that are both anti-vibration and anti-shock, at the base of the hand. The base continues over the wrist and is secured via more stretchy material that snuggles the wrist, with a pull-tab at the bottom.
Basically it’s a glove that mimics the breathability of skin in back while adding durability to the palm. You’ll want to wear them on every ride. You might even find yourself wanting to wear them when you’re driving, cooking, relaxing around the house. It’s a glove that improves on skin.
