Custom TIME Scylon Road Bikes

The TIME Scylon is one of the few carbon race frames in the world built using Resin Transfer Molding and Braided Carbon Structure — a process TIME pioneered and still runs in-house. Over 3 km of carbon and Vectran strands are braided into precision sleeves, then injected with resin under pressure to eliminate air pockets and produce a frame that is stiffer, lighter, and more structurally consistent than conventional prepreg layups. The Gen 2 Scylon drops over 100 grams per size from the previous generation, adds 9% more torsional stiffness, and improves aerodynamics by 12% through reshaped tube profiles — all while clearing 32mm tires and running full internal cable routing. Sub-900 grams raw for the frame.

About the TIME Scylon

TIME was founded by Roland Cattin in 1987 in Nevers, France. The company started with clipless pedals and became one of the first manufacturers to build carbon frames using its own braiding machines and RTM process — a method that injects resin under high pressure into woven carbon sleeves, producing frames with no air voids and exceptional material consistency. The Scylon is the flagship of that process, designed and engineered in France and manufactured at TIME's proprietary carbon facility in Europe. Every frame uses the same Braided Carbon Structure technology that has been refined over three decades of professional racing, and the current Gen 2 generation represents the lightest and most aerodynamically efficient Scylon to date.
