The Cinelli RAM 2 Road Bar is an integrated one-piece carbon handlebar built around a specific ergonomic idea: that the path your hands follow through the drop should feel continuous and natural, not like a series of geometric compromises. The Variable Radius Concept (VRC) drop profile is the result of development work carried out with athletes — the arc is shaped so your hands transition smoothly from the tops to the hooks to the brake levers without any awkward flat spots or sudden changes in angle.
The second-generation RAM reworks the internal cable routing with raised entry points at the bar tops, which lifts the hand position slightly for a more comfortable rest on longer rides. The layup itself has been fully revised from the original, combining T700 and high-modulus carbon fibre to balance stiffness where you want it — in the drops and clamping zone — with enough compliance to take the edge off rough road surfaces. The 85-degree bend angle suits riders who prefer a more upright hood position without sacrificing reach in the drops.
