Chris King ThreadFit T47 30x Ceramic Bottom Bracket is a T47 threaded bottom bracket for 30mm spindles, built around Chris King's angular contact bearings. Chris King designed ThreadFit to pair the security of a threaded shell with the stiffness of a PressFit 30 shell, so it won't creak the way some pressed-in bottom brackets can. The ceramic version uses ceramic bearings that Chris King makes in-house, in an exterior bearing design.
The T47 30x fits 68mm and 73mm shell widths, which covers a wide range of road, gravel and mountain frames. Spindle sleeves are included for 30mm spindles. The angular contact bearings wear in instead of out, and a grease injection tool makes servicing straightforward, so the bracket can stay in service for years. Chris King backs it with a 5-year warranty, and every unit is engineered, manufactured and assembled in Portland, Oregon.
It comes in eleven colors, including Matte Jade, Matte Mango, Matte Turquoise, Midnight, Red, Silver, Two Tone Black Punch, 3D Violet, Black, Matte Black and Matte Gold 50th, so you can match it to a Chris King headset or hubs.
