The CeramicSpeed Ceramic Race Coated Bottom Bracket - Threaded to 25mm (Campy UltraTorque) is built for Campagnolo UltraTorque cranks and engineered to reduce drivetrain friction from the ground up. At its core are Grade 3 Silicon Nitride ceramic balls — tested to be 400% smoother and 128% harder than standard steel balls — seated in hardened steel races and assembled in dust-free clean rooms. The result is a bottom bracket that spins with noticeably less resistance than a conventional unit and is designed to outlast standard bearings by a significant margin.
The "Race Coated" designation refers to CeramicSpeed's coated bearing races, which are treated to further reduce friction and improve wear resistance over uncoated steel. Each bearing is pre-greased with CeramicSpeed's own purpose-formulated lubricant, and a syringe of the same grease ships with the unit for ongoing maintenance. Available in English or Italian thread, with Black or Red finish options to suit your build.
