CeramicSpeed Ceramic MTB Bottom Bracket - PF30 to GXP (SRAM) Info
The CeramicSpeed Ceramic MTB Bottom Bracket PF30 to GXP is the answer when your frame runs a PF30 shell and your cranks run a GXP spindle — it fits the gap cleanly, and it does so with bearings that outperform standard steel by a significant margin. Grade 3 Silicon Nitride ceramic balls are installed into hardened steel races in dust-free clean rooms, producing a bearing that is 400% smoother and 128% harder than conventional steel balls, and designed to last three to five times longer.
The PF30 shell standard uses a 46mm inner diameter with a 73mm shell width, seating bearings in pressed cups rather than directly against the shell — this unit replaces those cups and accepts the GXP spindle's 24mm drive-side and 22.2mm non-drive-side dimensions. The aluminum cups are manufactured by Rotor in Spain, with the ceramic bearings pressed in at CeramicSpeed's facility in Denmark. Available in black or red anodized finish.
