There are no rigid plastic caps, no awkward straps digging in mid-ride. The sleeve-style construction holds the pad in place through the full range of arm movement, so it stays positioned over the elbow whether you're climbing out of the saddle or dropping into a technical descent. You wear it, and then you forget about it — until it does its job.
