Vittoria's Graphene-enhanced rubber compound is designed to reduce rolling resistance and increase durability and wet-weather traction simultaneously — not the usual trade-off you make with a tire this aggressive. At 27.5x2.3, it sits in a practical middle ground: substantial enough to handle rough, loose terrain, light enough to keep moving when the trail tilts upward.
The tubeless-ready TNT casing pairs a 120 TPI nylon construction with reinforced sidewalls — a nylon fabric layer backed by an abrasion-resistant rubber compound intended to resist cuts and tears in rocky terrain. Vittoria's 4C compound layering uses distinct rubber formulations at the center and shoulder zones, so braking grip and cornering grip are each tuned independently rather than compromised into a single blend.
