The Form XPR Universal 3-Hole Cleat Extender Plate Kit lets you move your road cleats rearward on the shoe, which is a common adjustment in modern bike fitting. Shifting the cleat back puts the pedal spindle closer to the arch of the foot. Form designed the plates to reduce the foot lever effect, ease the load on the ankle and calf, and take pressure off the ball of the foot. That pressure is a frequent source of hot foot on long rides.
The kit also helps when a shoe's cleat holes sit too far forward to reach a good position on their own. The flexible plate follows the sole's curvature, and the kit includes the base plates, M5 T-nuts, base plate screws, cleat screws and cleat washers. It works with Shimano SPD-SL, Look and Time 3-hole road cleats.
