Garmin Varia Vue Headlight Camera

The Garmin Varia Vue Headlight Camera does two jobs at once — illuminating the road ahead and recording everything in 4K. The integrated headlight puts out up to 600 lumens with a cutoff beam designed to light your path without blinding oncoming traffic, while brightness adjusts automatically based on your speed and ambient light conditions.

On the camera side, incident detection automatically saves footage before, during, and after a detected event, so the moments that matter are preserved without you having to think about it. Audio is captured via a built-in microphone, and footage can be reviewed or overlaid with ride data through the Varia app — with optional cloud storage available through a Garmin Vault subscription. Battery life runs up to 7 hours in day flash mode while recording, or up to 9 hours for video-only use. A separately sold memory card is required to record video. The Varia Vue mounts directly to compatible Garmin Edge out-front mounts, and light and camera settings can be managed from a paired Edge cycling computer or the Varia smartphone app.
