SRM Dura-Ace 9000 Power Meter Crankset Info
The SRM Dura-Ace 9000 Power Meter Crankset pairs Shimano's flagship mechanical groupset crankset with SRM's long-established power measurement technology. Built for riders who demand reliable training and racing data, this crankset delivers accurate power output using eight strain gauges housed within the spider — giving you a measurement system with a stated accuracy of ±2%. It occupies a clear position at the top of SRM's road offering, combining proven hardware with data you can trust across every session.
SRM has been manufacturing power meters longer than nearly anyone in the industry, and that experience shows in how this unit is built. The eight-strain-gauge configuration is designed to capture power data with consistency, measuring across the full pedal stroke rather than relying on a single point of reference. The crankset transmits wirelessly via ANT+, meaning it works with a wide range of compatible head units — Garmin Edge computers, most ANT+ cycling computers, and SRM's own PC6 and PC7 heads are all supported. No computer head is included, so you can pair it with the device already on your bars or choose separately. The bottom bracket is also sold separately — confirm compatibility with your frame before ordering.

Design Benefits
- Eight-strain-gauge measurement: Using eight gauges rather than fewer gives the SRM spider a more comprehensive picture of the forces applied through the crank. This approach is designed to reduce measurement variance caused by off-axis pedaling forces — a meaningful consideration for long training blocks where data integrity matters.
- Broad ANT+ compatibility: Because the power meter transmits over ANT+, you are not locked into a proprietary ecosystem. Whether you are running a Garmin Edge on a road bike or a CycleOps head unit on the trainer, the crankset is designed to broadcast power data to any compatible device — keeping your setup flexible as your equipment evolves.
- Dura-Ace 9000 chainring standard: Built around Shimano's Dura-Ace 9000 chainrings, the crankset gives you a drivetrain-quality foundation that road riders familiar with the 9000 groupset will recognize. Shifting performance and chainring durability are governed by Shimano's own manufacturing standards, so the power meter integration does not come at the expense of everyday mechanical reliability.
