The Renthal Duo Stem takes a two-piece horizontal construction approach that removes material where it isn't needed — and keeps it exactly where it is. Machined from a strong aluminium alloy, it carries the same design discipline Renthal applies to components built for far rougher punishment than most mountain bike trails will ever demand. The result is a stem that sits at 124g (40mm) or 143g (50mm) without compromising the structural integrity that aggressive riders depend on.
The U-shaped handlebar clamping area is the detail worth noting. It distributes clamping load more evenly around the bar, reducing the risk of stress concentration at the clamp interface — a genuine engineering consideration, not just a styling choice. With a +/- 10 degree rise, a 31.8mm bar clamp, and a 1-1/8" steerer interface, the Duo slots cleanly into most modern trail and enduro builds.
