The SRAM Force E1 Flattop 12/13-speed Chain is built for riders who put serious miles through their drivetrain and need the hardware to keep up. Hard chrome plating on the inner link plates and rollers resists wear where it matters most, extending service life across long seasons of training and racing. Cut-outs in both the inner and outer plates trim weight without compromising structural integrity.
The Flattop profile is designed to run with 12-speed road and 13-speed XPLR AXS drop bar drivetrains — the narrower, flat-topped outer plates are what allow that compatibility across both standards. Installation uses a Flattop PowerLock master link, included with the chain. Two finish options are available: silver for a clean, traditional look, or purple for riders who want their components to say something.
