The SRAM XS-1270 T-Type Cassette 12-Speed brings SRAM's T-Type Transmission architecture to a traditional splined driver body, giving trail and enduro riders access to proven shift performance without requiring a dedicated XD or XDR freehub. The 10-52T range covers everything from steep technical climbs to open descents, and the black nickel chrome finish is designed to hold up under sustained trail use.
X-SYNC tooth profiling works in concert with T-Type chains to maintain precise chain engagement through inboard and outboard shifts, including under load — a meaningful advantage on punchy climbs where you can't always ease off the pedals before changing gears. The 8-12 gear cluster is replaceable, so when the most-used cogs wear first, you're replacing a section rather than the whole cassette. SRAM designed this cassette around a 55mm chainline to reduce chain angle across the range and extend drivetrain longevity.
