Bianchi Infinito Ultegra Di2 Bike Info

Bianchi has been building bicycles in Italy since 1885, longer than any other major manufacturer, and the Bianchi Infinito Ultegra Di2 Bike carries that lineage into an endurance road platform built for riders who want to go long without giving up performance. The Infinito is built around a carbon frame and fork with endurance geometry that prioritizes a taller front end — head tube lengths run from 120mm on the 47cm frame to 210mm on the 61cm — positioning the rider more upright than a race bike and managing fatigue over extended time in the saddle. Integrated Cable Routing (ICR) runs cables fully internal from the cockpit to the rear triangle through a dedicated Acros/FSA headset system, keeping the front end clean and eliminating external housing runs entirely. The result is a frame that looks purposeful from any angle and removes small sources of aerodynamic drag that add up over a long day of riding.

Shimano Ultegra Di2 handles the full groupset. R8150 front and rear derailleurs provide the precise, repeatable gear changes that electronic shifting delivers, operated through R8170 integrated shift/brake levers. The brake calipers are Shimano Ultegra R8170 hydraulic disc, running Shimano CL800 160mm rotors at both ends — consistent modulation across descents and varied conditions, which matters on the kind of multi-hour rides the Infinito is built for. The crankset is Shimano Ultegra 8100 with a 50/34 chainring setup, paired with a Shimano Ultegra R8100 12-speed cassette spanning 11-34 teeth. That combination gives the rider a usable spread: enough top end on fast road sections and enough low end for sustained climbing on loaded days. The bottom bracket is Shimano BB-72-41B pressfit, and the chain is Shimano M8100 12-speed, a durable match for the cassette range across all conditions.

Velomann Palladium carbon wheels carry the Infinito, with a 33mm rim profile on both front and rear built for tubeless compatibility. The 33mm depth balances aero efficiency at road speeds with crosswind stability — a practical choice for all-day riding where conditions change and constant attention to wheel handling adds to fatigue. The stock tire is the Pirelli Cinturato Velo TLR in 700x32, a tubeless-ready endurance road tire that rolls fast on tarmac and offers enough volume to absorb road surface irregularities over long distances. The cockpit is Velomann throughout: an alloy stem with fully internal cable routing, a Velomann Aero Compact Alloy handlebar with 74mm reach and 116mm drop, and a Velomann Mitora Lite saddle with carbon rails at 139mm wide. The Velomann Custom D-Shape alloy seatpost runs 25mm setback, positioning the rider correctly relative to the bottom bracket.

Seven sizes run from 47cm to 61cm, with reach spanning 371 to 392mm across the range — a compact reach that reinforces the bike's endurance intent. Bar widths scale from 40cm (47–53cm) to 44cm (57–61cm), and stock stem lengths run from 90mm on the 47cm to 120mm on the 57–61cm, keeping the fit proportional without requiring immediate component swaps. Two colorways are available: 2K Celeste Glossy, Bianchi's iconic color that has defined the brand for well over a century, and 2M Purple/Black Glossy, a more contemporary option on a frame built for long days on the road. At $5,600, the Infinito delivers a complete Ultegra Di2 build on an Italian carbon endurance frameset with fully integrated cable routing, carbon tubeless-ready wheels, and a tire and contact-point specification that reflects the bike's purpose from the first ride.

The RA Perspective

The Infinito is the bike you reach for when the ride is measured in hours, not laps. The geometry makes this clear immediately — the head tube is notably tall for a carbon road bike at this price, which means you're sitting in a position that stays manageable past the third hour. That's the right call for the rider who does long gran fondos, multi-hour training days, or rides where the course has as much pavement as it does climbing.

The Ultegra Di2 spec suits this bike well. Electronic shifting means gear changes stay reliable when your hands are cold, wet, or tired — the conditions that long-distance riding puts you in. The R8170 hydraulic disc brakes are consistent across all conditions, and on the kind of extended descents that accumulate on a long road day, modulation matters more than peak stopping power. The 50/34 double with an 11-34 cassette gives you a range that handles both the fast sections and the sustained climbs without feeling geared for just one type of road.

The Velomann Palladium carbon wheels at 33mm are well matched to this platform — aero enough for road use, stable enough that you're not managing them in crosswinds, and tubeless-compatible for the Pirelli Cinturato Velo TLR 700x32. That tire is a solid choice for endurance riding: fast on smooth pavement, enough volume to take the edge off rougher surfaces.

The Celeste Glossy is the version to consider if you want the bike to read as a Bianchi from across the road. It's not nostalgia for its own sake — it's a real color that holds up well in every context. The Purple/Black Glossy is a strong alternative for riders who want something less expected. Seven sizes from 47 to 61cm means most riders find a proper fit here without reaching for the parts bin.
