HEATER uses a waffle-structured design that traps micro pockets of warm air against the body while actively channeling moisture away, giving the jacket a warmth-to-weight balance that avoids the clammy feel of a purely insulated shell.
The sleeves use a different textile, CORE Medium, which fuses a thermal layer with a 3-layer softshell into a low-volume construction that Assos built to hit higher marks for both insulation and stretch than the jacket's previous sleeve material.
