XLAB Torpedo Aluminum Mount Info

The XLAB Torpedo Aluminum Mount is a handlebar bottle cage mount built for triathletes who want a clean, low-drag setup between their aerobars. It sits horizontal — not angled upward like many competing mounts — and pairs a flat base plate that smooths airflow beneath the bottle and cage. Four non-stretch polyester straps with silicone grip keep the mount secure across aerobar widths from 9 to 14 cm center-to-center, with 1.5 inches of fore and aft cage adjustment so you can dial in bottle position precisely.

Installation and removal require no tools, and the mount clears the steerer cap for use alongside the XLAB Aero Computer Mount. XLAB recommends pairing it with the Torpedo cage for the lowest-drag configuration, or swapping to the Chimp cage on rough roads or steep climbs.
