The SRAM XX Direct Mount Front Derailleur was built from the ground up for 2x10 drivetrains — not adapted from something else, but designed specifically around the shifting demands that come with that setup. The cage is steel, the body is forged AL-6061-T6, and the direct mount interface eliminates the slop and flex that a clamp-based design introduces at the frame junction.
Available in both top pull and bottom pull configurations, it suits a range of frame routing setups without compromise. The chainstay angle compatibility runs from 66 to 69 degrees, covering the geometry of most modern trail and cross-country frames.
