At 2.5mm thick, the Endurance line slots right in between Fizik’s other two types of tape, the Superlight which is 2mm thick and the Performance which is 3mm thick. You probably already know most of your predilections and preferences when it comes to your bar tape: do you like to ride without gloves and prefer it cushiony, or have an affinity for an old school thinness in your bar/tape setup? Do you sometimes go without gloves, but want to avoid the feel of super-thick tapes, particularly for those times when you do wear your Roubaix gloves or winter full-fingered affairs? The Fizik Endurance Bar Tape will be a great option since you do get that middle way thickness added to the option of being able to choose how you want it to feel. If you’ve used Fizik tape before, you’ll immediately recognize the Classic option as that perfect mix between grippiness and softness. And if you like to lean more in one direction than the other, the Endurance line also has a Soft Touch option that will remind you of your favorite authentic cork tape from the 80s, but without any of the ripping drawbacks. Or if you particularly like to have a solid grip, and are faced with many wet days on the road, then you can opt for the Endurance Tacky Tape.
