Time Bikes

Time has been building carbon frames in France since 1987 — among the first in the world to apply carbon fiber to both clipless pedals and framebuilding. That material expertise shows up in every frame they make: Resin Transfer Molding and Braided Carbon Structure techniques produce a layup that is measurably stiffer under power and more forgiving over rough roads than conventional construction. This collection covers the full Time range at RA Cycles. The Scylon is Time’s flagship road frameset, available as a bare frame or built to spec with Shimano Di2, SRAM AXS, or Campagnolo Super Record WRL. The Alpe d’Huez X and ADHX 45 carry the same construction into all-road and gravel territory with clearance for wider tires. Every Time frame is available as a complete custom build, spec’d and assembled in-house at RA Cycles.

About Time

Time was founded in Lyon, France in 1987 by Roland Cattin, starting with carbon clipless pedals at a time when the material was largely unproven in cycling. That engineering logic carried directly into their framebuilding: proprietary RTM (Resin Transfer Molding) and BCS (Braided Carbon Structure) techniques refined over decades remain the defining characteristic of every frame they make today. The construction delivers a combination that most brands struggle to achieve — stiff under power, genuinely forgiving over rough roads. Time’s racing pedigree includes Grand Tour stage victories and Monument wins, and the Alpe d’Huez model carries the name of cycling’s most celebrated climb. After a period of ownership changes, the brand relaunched under U.S.-based management with a focused lineup and full custom-build capability through select authorized dealers.
