R&A Cycles was founded in 1976 in Brooklyn, New York in the very same store we still occupy and operate today. While our location remains the same, our inventory and knowledge is as modern as it gets. We built our business on having the best selection of premium cycling products in the industry and the expertise to back it up.
In the 80's we carved a niche as the go-to destination for high performance, rare, and classic inventory. Keeping with the times, we progressed to mail orders to serve customers around the world.
As the internet came to fruition and became a part of the market, R&A Cycles once again adapted and thrived. Our e-commerce website went live in 1997, just two years after the first-ever online shopping transaction took place. We have shipped to riders in over 135 different countries across more than two decades.
In 2020, R&A Cycles expanded, opening a modern shop in Walnut Creek, California. More than just a bike shop, this exceptional facility offers a massive inventory, a personalized experience, a custom studio, a world-class service center, and even its own café. The hub of California cycling, Walnut Creek offers an amazing lifestyle for its community. At R&A Cycles, we never stray from our roots, but refuse to fall behind the times.
To keep our momentum moving forward, we're expected to open another Flagship store in Miami, Florida at the end of 2023.
