Van Rysel was founded in 2019 in Lille, in the heart of French Flanders — the same region where Paris-Roubaix has run since 1896. The brand is Decathlon’s in-house performance cycling label, designed to bring WorldTour-grade hardware to competitive cyclists at every level. The RCR aero road bike was developed with the involvement of ONERA, the French national aerospace research organization, for airflow optimization. The XCR triathlon and time trial platform was validated in a wind tunnel in partnership with Swiss Side. Both models use integrated carbon cockpits developed with Deda. Van Rysel supplies bikes and equipment to the Decathlon CMA-CGM WorldTour team and Van Rysel Roubaix Continental squad. More at vanrysel.com.
The RA Cycles collection spans the RCR Pro and RCR-F Pro road bikes — both based on the same aero platform, with the RCR-F Pro at the top of the range — in complete bike builds across Shimano Dura-Ace Di2, Ultegra Di2, SRAM Red AXS, Force AXS, and Rival AXS. The XCR is the dedicated triathlon option, built around an integrated position and full cockpit integration. Custom build options are available on the RCR Pro frame for riders who want to specify their own groupset. The RCR Pro medium frame is claimed at 830g.
