Wilier Triestina was founded in 1906 by Pietro Dal Molin in the Veneto region of northern Italy. The name carries the brand’s origins openly: “Wilier” is an acronym for W l’Italia liberata e redenta — “Long live Italy, liberated and redeemed” — and “Triestina” expressed the patriotic hope that Trieste would one day rejoin Italy. The brand built its racing reputation in the post-war years: Fiorenzo Magni won the 1948 Giro d’Italia on Wilier, then took back-to-back Tour of Flanders victories in 1949 and 1950. Today Wilier supplies the Groupama-FDJ WorldTour team, and the Ramato, Italiano, FDJ, and Cavendish special editions of the 0 SLR trace directly back to that racing lineage. The RA Cycles Wilier collection covers every model in the current road and gravel lineup. The 0 SLR is the flagship — ultralight with fully integrated cables, available in four special edition colorways up to $17,700. The Filante SLR and Filante SL handle aero road riding across a wide range of build specs and budgets ($5,900–$17,700). The Verticale SLR is built for climbing, the Granturismo SLR is designed for long-distance road riding, and the Rave SLR ID2 and Adlar bring Wilier’s engineering to competitive gravel. Framesets are available across the Filante SLR, Verticale SLR, and Granturismo SLR.
The Verticale SLR has its own dedicated collection at RA Cycles — browse the full Wilier Verticale SLR lineup directly. Or explore the broader range across road bikes and gravel bikes.
