The ENVE Aero Road Stem helps you achieve both of those goals in an elite stem that developed with the help of Team Dimension Data. While aero bikes receive a lot of attention – and for good reason – the reality is that about 80-90 percent of aero drag is a result of the rider’s body. This stem is developed to put the rider in the most aerodynamically efficient position possible to effectively knock down that large amount of drag.
Your aero road stem is built for a negative drop and cannot be flipped. The lightweight carbon road stem is able to give you a drop of -7 to -17 degrees using the angular shim. The length adjusting shim can bring the handlebars 2.5mm closer to or further from you at a steady downward pitch of -12 degrees. Having a stem that is adjustable in both length and angle will help you get your body into an aero position so you can dominate the road. If you have lofty goals for speed on the road, it is important not to overlook the difference a quality stem can make.
