DT Swiss 180/240/440 Rear End Cap Kit 12x142/148/157mm lets you convert compatible DT Swiss hubs to a different thru-axle diameter without replacing the entire hub. Swapping end caps is a straightforward way to move a wheel between framesets with different axle standards — keeping your existing hub and bearing setup intact rather than building a new wheel from scratch.
These caps are compatible with both 12x142mm, 12x148mm, and 12x157mm rear axle standards. Worth noting: this conversion addresses axle diameter only. It does not alter hub flange spacing, so it will not convert a Boost-spaced hub to standard spacing or vice versa.
