Clif Bloks - Individual

Clif Shot Bloks occupy a middle ground in the exercise food universe. They're energy chews, which are somewhere between solidified gels and liquefied foods. That they sit in this patch means that when you're looking for a quick, easy-to-eat, quick-to-digest source of calories, this is a great way to get calories. One Blok will take a bite or two, a few chews, and down the throat it goes, quickly getting into your bloodstream.

 

Shot Bloks come with six blocks in a sleeve. It's easy to just rip open the top and push them out into your mouth. 

 

The sleeve has two servings, or 180-200 calories per container, depending on flavor. All of the flavors are 90% organic, with 50-150mg of sodium, 20mg of potassium, and 23-24g of carbohydrate per serving. 

 

As with All Clif products, there is no high-fructose corn syrup, no artificial flavors, no synthetic preservatives, no GMO ingredients, and are vegan-friendly.

 

There are a few specialty flavors in the mix. One has 50mg of caffeine (Black Cherry), two have 25mg (Orange and Tropical Punch), and one has three times the normal sodium (Margarita: 150mg of sodium, while the others have 50mg).
