The Capo Lady Siena HiVis Midweight Jacket is what you should be busting out on those days that look a little cooler than your long sleeve jersey comfort zone would cover. If the sun is not out and there is a breezy nip in the air, the Siena HiVis Midweight Jacket will give you the protection you’ll need to enjoy your day out on the bike. The largest part of the HiVis Midweight Jacket is made from what they call the Protegge Membrane, well named since it basically translates as "to protect" in Italian. It is a medium weight dual-layer material that offers wind and water resistance on the top side while the interior layer takes care of the thermal insulation. Capo considers it a membrane, which indicates just how thin it is in comparison to how effective it is at keeping you warm. On the back of the jacket, though, a P-10 Membrane fabric is used. It is a perforated material that is highly visible in low-light situations and provides a greater amount of stretch for ease of movement. Placing it primarily in the shoulder blade area of the back means that Capo has made you more comfortable and more visible in one swoop.
For the material sitting directly next to your skin, Capo incorporated Super Roubaix fabric. The well-known and well-loved plushy, fleecy fabric provides both superior insulation as well as fantastic moisture management largely due to the hollow microfibers that make up the material and trap both your heat and wick your moisture. The high collar will protect your neck from chilly drafts and includes some color detailing at the collar and cuffs in order to insert a little fashionable color-blocking for your daily rides.
