Campagnolo H11 11s Crankset Info

One thing about disc brake bikes that makes them different from their rim brake brethren is the wider stays. These stays make room for the disc rotor on the left and change the spacing on the right. While this is good for adding larger tires, it complicates drivetrains. Campagnolo solved for this problem with their H11 Crankset.

This is the same carbon-fiber, four-arm crank you find for rim-brake bikes. This is important to note because even though the spacing between the dropouts got wider, the bottom bracket standards have stayed the same. As a result, Campy wants to provide you with the same Q-factor (145.5mm) you’re used to and the same selection of bottom brackets to match up with whatever standard your bike is built with. And, of course, the same Ultra-Torque bottom bracket for light weight, strength, and reliability.

The difference is in the chainrings. The chainrings on the H11 cranks have been machined to move rightward by 5mm to maintain the same relationship with the cassette as you’d have on a rim brake bike. These are otherwise the same chainrings you find on traditional Campagnolo 11 Speed cranks. You get the same Xtreme Performance Shifting System of ramps and cuts. The same eight-bolt mounting system for the rings, four for each chainring. The same Ultra Smooth Bearings that are attached to the crank and make it easy for you to install them in Ultra-Torque bottom bracket cups.

The cranks come in three lengths: 170, 172.5, and 175mm. There are three standard chainring configurations:  Standard (53/39), Mid-Compact (52/36), and Compact (50/34). While the rings can be swapped the pins on the big rings are timed to work best with the small ring they’re paired with.

Weight of the Campagnolo H11 Eleven Speed Crankset is 628g for the 170mm long, 50/34 crank with bearings installed.
