Bianchi Specialissima Comp Ultegra Di2 Bike Info

Obviamente, menos material usado equivale a menos peso.

The RA Perspective

The Specialissima Comp sits at an interesting position in the lineup. It's the most accessible Specialissima, but accessible is relative here — at $6,500, this is still a serious road bike, and it rides like one.

The frame uses a lower modulus carbon than the Pro and skips Countervail. Riders who have spent time on the Pro or RC will feel that difference on choppier pavement — the Comp transmits more road feedback. That's not necessarily a liability. Plenty of riders prefer a livelier feel underfoot, and the trade-off buys a capable climbing bike for significantly less money. On smooth tarmac and clean mountain climbs, the Comp gives back most of what the more expensive versions deliver.

The Ultegra Di2 groupset is a genuine strength. Shimano's R8100-series update made real ergonomic improvements — the hoods sit better in hand than the previous generation, and the 12-speed shifting is immediate and reliable in all conditions. The hydraulic disc brakes modulate well on long descents in wet weather, which matters if you're doing anything with real elevation gain.

The Velomann Palladium wheels are a reasonable match for the bike's all-around character. At 33mm depth they're not trying to be an aero wheelset, but they hold a line well and the tubeless-ready setup pairs properly with the Pirelli P Zero tires.

We'd recommend the Comp for riders looking for a versatile road bike that handles long events and mixed terrain without asking them to switch machines. It's also a natural starting point for anyone who wants to build toward an integrated cockpit setup over time — the Acros ICR architecture is already there. If you ride mostly flat crits or time trials, look at the Oltre. If you're in the mountains most of the time and budget allows, the Specialissima Pro is worth the step up.
