The fit is what they call their women’s-specific regularFit. It’s close but not second skin. This is something everyone can enjoy, from those who ride to their favorite cafes and those who ride to exhaustion. And, because it’s Assos, the shoulders, sleeves, zipper, and pockets all fit well standing up, and better once you’re on the bike and riding.
The bulk of the panels are constructed out of Type.112 Dual Fabric: it’s fast-drying thanks to excellent wicking and has odorControl built in. The Dual is used for the front and rear panels as well as the fronts of the arms. Their Aerofit textile is used for the side panels, as it has excellent stretch and excellent venting.
The collar is built in two segments. It’s flat in front for greater comfort and better fit, and constructed in back as part of the garment’s spine and support structure. They also went with their triple ramp pocket design both for how durable it is and for how well the pockets can be stuffed. Silicone beads are on the rear hem helping lock it to your shorts as insurance against riding up and bouncing.
