Their now-departed falkenZahn was good. This is better. They basically redid everything, save the zipper. It’s still a complex garment, with nine different textiles employed in sixteen components. The neck is protective, but isn’t an extra piece of material, so it doesn’t flap when unzipped. The fit is revised so the shoulders are a good bit narrower than your shoulders, so it doesn’t bunch when on the drops. The upper front panels are made of TwinDeck, which is windproof and slightly insulating. The side panels have been redesigned for a closer fit. The back panel is lighter. The bottom hem dramatically shortens by the zipper so the zipper won’t pooch when tucking. There are reflective stripes on the shoulders and sides and back. There are three pockets.
