The Dyora RS Rain Vest is the kind of piece you don't think about until you need it, and then you're glad it's there. Schloss Tex is genuinely one of the better waterproof membranes we've handled — it sheds rain effectively while staying breathable enough that you're not swimming in your own sweat by the time the sun comes back out.

The raceFit cut is snug, which is the point for a vest meant to disappear at speed, but riders who prefer a more relaxed fit over a jersey and arm warmers should size up rather than layering it tight. The silicone hems at the arms and waist do a good job keeping water from creeping in at the edges, and the double-slider zipper is a small detail that makes a real difference on long climbs when you need to vent without fully unzipping.

Being a vest rather than a full jacket means your arms stay exposed, so this works best paired with arm warmers or a base layer for anything below mild temperatures. It's not meant to replace a full rain jacket for cold, sustained downpours — it's built for the ride where conditions are uncertain and you want protection in your pocket rather than committing to a full shell from the start.
