Wilier Triestina has been building race bikes in northeastern Italy since 1906, and the Wilier Rave SLR ID2 Super Record X WRL 13-speed Bike w/Power Meter carries that racing pedigree onto gravel roads. It's the flagship build of Wilier's dedicated gravel race platform, developed to compete at the front of gravel's biggest events rather than simply survive them. Built from the original Rave SLR, the ID2 sharpens that formula around a single focus: off-road speed. The frame and fork are constructed from Wilier's Carbon Monocoque HUS MOD, reinforced with Liquid Crystal Polymer, the same family of layup Wilier uses across its most performance-focused platforms to add torsional stiffness and precise power transfer without adding bulk. Wilier builds it on the same SLR carbon architecture that underpins its road lineup, tuned here for maximum stiffness-to-weight so power goes into forward motion instead of frame flex.
Wilier put the Rave SLR ID2 through months of wind tunnel testing and CFD simulation to reshape its tube profiles specifically for speed on dirt rather than pavement. Wilier's own testing shows a 5.3-watt efficiency gain at 35 km/h, which over a 70km gravel race at 350 watts average power works out to roughly 50 seconds saved, the kind of margin that separates a podium finish from a top ten. That aero focus doesn't come at the expense of versatility. The frame clears tires up to 52mm, and this build rolls on Vittoria Terreno T50 tubeless-ready tires in a 700x50 width, wide enough for real traction on loose and technical terrain without dulling the frame's racing intent. A compact wheelbase and short chainstays keep the handling quick, whether the surface underneath is hardpack, chunky gravel, or pavement connecting the two, and the Rave SLR ID2 comes in six sizes, from XS through XXL, so that racing geometry doesn't come at the cost of fit.
This particular build is where the Rave SLR ID2 gets genuinely rare: it's specced with Campagnolo Super Record X WRL, the Italian brand's first wireless 1x13-speed gravel groupset. The rear derailleur uses Campagnolo's Nano Clutch to keep the chain tensioned and quiet over rough ground, running a wide-range 10-48 cassette off a 40t chainring to cover everything from flat-out gravel straights to punchy climbs. Braking comes from Super Record WRL hydraulic disc calipers on 160mm rotors, controlled through Campagnolo's new brake-only left Ergopower lever, a simplified control made possible now that shifting no longer needs a mechanical or wired connection at all. The crankset carries an integrated power meter, so ride and race data come built into the drivetrain rather than added on afterward. The frame runs a UDH derailleur hanger and is built around 1x drivetrains exclusively, keeping the setup clean and compatible with where gravel groupsets are headed. It's a different direction than the SRAM XPLR and Shimano GRX Di2 builds most gravel racers default to, and it puts Campagnolo's flagship off-road groupset on a frame built to match its ambitions.
Miche Aero Graff Carbon 48mm wheels complete the build. Miche builds the Graff Aero 48 specifically for top-level gravel racing, deep enough to hold speed across the flat, open sections that make up most gravel courses without the harshness that can come with a narrower, less compliant rim. Up front, Wilier's F-Bar integrated carbon cockpit, a 380-gram monocoque design adapted from the aero bar on Wilier's Filante road platform, pairs with a custom Superslim 1 1/4-inch headset for a clean, low-drag front end. A Filante carbon seatpost with -15mm offset and a Prologo Dimension-AGX T4.0 saddle finish out the contact points. Wilier carried its 90s digital icon design language through the finish, pixelated graphics and high-contrast colorways meant to be as recognizable at speed as the bike is fast, and this build is available in The Grip, Pixel Green Matte, Glitch Black, Neon Purple, and Byte Cream Matte.
At $12,500, the Rave SLR ID2 Super Record X WRL is built for riders racing gravel at a serious level: UCI Gravel Series-caliber events, long mixed-terrain days, or anyone who wants Wilier's fastest gravel platform paired with Campagnolo's most advanced wireless groupset. It isn't a do-it-all adventure bike. It's a race bike that happens to run on dirt.
