La rueda Shimano Dura-Ace 9270 C60 es tu mejor amiga cuando se trata de andar en llano y correr. The RA Perspective

We see the C60 front wheel land on bikes built for one job: going fast on flat ground. The 60mm D2 rim is deep enough that you notice the aero benefit on a fast group ride or flat time trial, and Shimano's decision to give this specific wheel its own hub and OPTBAL 2:1 spoke pattern is the more interesting engineering story here. Most front wheels don't need a 2:1 lacing pattern because the front hub doesn't have to deal with dish from a cassette, but Shimano used it anyway to chase extra lateral stiffness, and riders who load up the front end hard in corners or during standing sprints will feel that rigidity.

The tradeoff is that a wheel this deep and this stiff isn't the one we'd reach for on a hilly century or a mixed-terrain day. At 60mm, crosswinds on exposed bridges or open roads are noticeable, even with Shimano's D2 profile doing real work to tame them. This is a wheel that rewards flat, fast riding and punishes you a little on days when the wind picks up or the road tilts uphill for long stretches.

Setup is straightforward since the tubeless tape and valve come preinstalled, and the 21mm internal width plays nicely with the 28-30mm tires most riders are already running on race bikes. We'd point this wheel toward time trialists, triathletes, and criterium or flat-road sprinters who want a front-specific upgrade without committing to a full wheelset purchase right away.
