We've been selling Lightweight wheels long enough to know they polarize people before the first ride. The price stops some buyers cold. What changes their mind — when it does — is putting the wheel in their hands. The Pfadfinder EVO is genuinely, noticeably light for a gravel wheelset. At 1,430 grams, it pairs with a construction you feel in the first hard corner: no lateral give, no soft flex, just the wheel responding exactly where you point it.

The R2R spoke design is the part we explain most often at the counter. People see 20 spokes and wonder whether it's sturdy enough. It is. The continuous carbon fiber running rim-to-rim doesn't behave like a conventional wheel build — there's nothing to detension, nothing to knock out of true. We've seen these wheels come back from long gravel rides that included more abuse than planned, and they don't move. That consistency matters when you're far enough out that a wheel problem is a real problem.
