At the core of the Filante Ultimate 120 is a carbon monocoque frame and fork built from Wilier's HUS MOD+ layup with Crystal Liquid Polymer resin, the same construction approach the brand uses across its top-tier Filante SLR aero platform. The tube shapes lean on that platform's design language: rounded, NACA-informed profiles rather than the sharp Kamm-tail edges of earlier aero bikes, intended to hold their aerodynamic advantage across a wider range of real-world wind angles rather than just in a straight headwind. The cockpit is Wilier's F-Bar ID2 Ultimate integrated carbon bar and stem, painted to match the frame and routed to keep cables and hoses out of the airstream, with a built-in computer mount. The seatpost follows the same treatment: a Filante ID2 Ultimate carbon post with zero offset, also color-matched to the frame.
