The Scott Addict 25 Bike is Scott's endurance road bike, built for riders who want to go long rather than chase a start line. It sits apart from the race-focused Addict RC in Scott's lineup, trading some outright stiffness for a frame designed to stay comfortable over hours in the saddle. At $5,999.99, the Addict 25 runs a wireless SRAM Rival AXS E1 groupset and carbon wheels on the Addict HMF Carbon frame — the version of the platform Scott tunes to balance weight, stiffness, and comfort rather than chase the lightest possible number.
Scott redesigned the Addict's frame around endurance geometry, with a slightly higher stack and shorter reach than the RC to keep riders more upright over a long day. The seat tube is slimmed just below the seatstay junction, letting it flex forward with the road for added vertical compliance — Scott says the result is meaningfully more comfortable than the previous Addict generation and the current Addict RC. An integrated storage compartment sits low in the down tube near the bottom bracket, holding a puncture repair kit within easy reach without adding weight up high on the frame. The frame carries a replaceable UDH derailleur hanger and fully internal cable routing, and clears tires up to 700x38mm — wide enough to take the edge off rough pavement or a gravel connector without changing the bike's road character.
Shifting and braking run through SRAM's wireless Rival AXS E1 groupset, including a power meter crankset with 46/33 chainrings and hydraulic disc brakes on 160mm Paceline rotors. The SRAM XG-1250 cassette spans a wide 10-36 range, giving the Addict 25 enough low-end gearing for steep climbs on an all-day route, not just the rollers of a race course. Wireless shifting also means a cleaner cockpit and less housing to route through the frame's internal channels.
Fulcrum Wind 42 DB carbon wheels give the Addict 25 a mid-depth aero profile without pushing the weight or handling toward a pure race setup, and they're paired with Schwalbe One tires at 700x34 out of the box. The cockpit combines a Syncros HB-R100-CF carbon handlebar with an alloy Syncros stem, and the Syncros Tofino V 2.0 Cut Out saddle rounds out the finishing kit. A Syncros SP-R101-CF carbon seatpost works with the redesigned seat tube to add another layer of ride comfort. The Addict 25 is available in Iron Grey and Peach Pink across sizes XXS through XXL.
This is a bike for the rider who wants a fast road bike that doesn't punish them on a five-hour ride — someone doing gran fondos, long weekend rides, or all-day routes that mix good pavement with rougher sections. With endurance geometry, tire clearance to 38mm, and a frame tuned for compliance over raw stiffness, the Addict 25 is built to hold its speed late into a ride rather than just at the start of one.
