The RA Perspective

We're not going to pretend this is a new bike — the Noah FAST is an older-generation Ridley, and it's priced accordingly. What we will say is that at $1,500 for a frameset that originally retailed at $5,495, the value here is genuinely hard to argue with if you already have rim brake components sitting on a current bike or in your parts bin.

The FAST-Concept technologies on this frameset were real engineering work when Ridley developed them, and they haven't stopped working. The integrated F-Brake is still one of the cleaner aero solutions we've seen on a production road frame — no exposed caliper, no hardware disrupting airflow at the fork crown. The F-Splitfork is legitimately effective. And the F-Surface texture finish is the kind of detail that shows up in wind tunnel data more than spec sheets.

What you're building here is a dedicated aero road bike — criteriums, flat gran fondos, training days where you want to go fast without spending Dura-Ace money on a frame. It's also a solid option for a second build: keep your disc bike for the rough stuff and put your old Ultegra or Force groupset on this frame to have something light and quick for clean roads.

One thing to be clear about: this is XL only, rim brake only, and Final Sale. If any of those three things is a problem for you, it's not the right call. If none of them are, this is one of the better deals we've had on a race frameset in a long time.
