The Q36.5 Gregarius Winter Bib Tights - Womens are cold-weather cycling bib tights built for training, competition and endurance rides when temperatures drop. Q36.5 says they are meant to keep your leg muscles warm so you don't feel slower in winter, and rates them for conditions from about 5°C down to -5°C and colder.
UF Thermo Plus Fabric
The tights use Q36.5's UF Thermo Plus fabric, a proprietary knit with a nylon outer face and a DWR (durable water repellent) finish. That finish helps shed light moisture and road spray. DWR is not a waterproof membrane, so treat these as tights for cold and damp conditions rather than a downpour.
Inside, a hydrophobic polyester thread insulates and moves moisture away from the skin. That matters in winter, because sweat that stays against your legs makes a cold ride colder. Q36.5 also lists wind control and UV protection among the fabric's features.
Body-Mapped Fit and Women's Chamois
Q36.5 cuts the tights to the riding position. The pattern is body-mapped and pre-shaped for the cycling position, with minimal material behind the knees. The tights have few seams and strategically placed panels, plus an anti-stress cut in the pelvic area.
The pad is the Fusion Lady Chamois, which combines sewn and thermo-molded padding. The front uses 120 kg/m³ open-cell foam for flexibility and breathability, and the rear uses multi-density thermo-molded pads for support. Q36.5 also uses a molded saddle-contact pattern.
