The Q36.5 Gregarius Hybrid Light Bib Tights - Womens are the full-length version of Q36.5's Gregarius bib shorts, and the brand describes them as its lightest tights. They are intended for what Q36.5 calls dawn-till-dusk rides in early fall and late spring.
A Lightweight, High-Density Fabric
The tights use a high-density proprietary fabric with 44 stitches per cm², which Q36.5 says provides muscle support. Q36.5 lists the composition as 63% polyamide 6.6, 36% elastane and 1% silver. The high elastane content gives the fabric stretch to move with your legs, and in size M the tights weigh 200 g.
The fabric also offers UV protection and sun deflection. Q36.5 says it reduces heat build-up by up to 1.5°C compared with similar regular black fabric. Treat that figure as the brand's own claim. Q36.5 also lists breathability among the features.
Pre-Shaped Fit and Women's Chamois
Q36.5 cuts the tights pre-shaped, with fewer seams and fabric panels to support the pedal stroke. A lumbar support panel, which uses silver thread, is there for stability and alignment in the saddle. The hems are raw-cut, which Q36.5 designs to stay in place without irritating the skin, and the straps are lightweight. Q36.5 says they are more breathable than before.
The chamois is a women-specific molded pad that adapts to the shape of the saddle, with a seamless, pre-shaped design.
Where It Fits
Within the Gregarius range, the Hybrid Light tights sit at the lighter end. They suit riders who want full-length leg coverage without a heavy winter fabric, and who ride in the transition seasons.
