The Q36.5 Adventure Winter Bib Tights - Womens are winter bib tights built for varied terrain, made from 100% recycled micro-fleece with a durable water-repellent treatment. Q36.5 designed them around a woman's anatomy and ergonomics, and lists a temperature range of 32°F to 50°F. At 245 grams in a medium, they are light for a fleece-lined tight.
Fabric and Construction
The main fabric is UF Knit FleeceEco, a double-face knit made with 100% recycled yarns. The outer face is water repellent and the inner face is a micro-fleece for insulation. The composition is 60% polyamide, 23% polyester and 17% elastane. In the crotch area, Q36.5 switches to UF Hybrid Shell fabric, and it adds silver thread there and in the lumbar panel.
Extra Value Power Mesh inserts sit over the quadriceps and knees. Q36.5 says the mesh is intended to slide over the fabric in a crash to reduce skin friction. The lumbar support panel uses a high-density woven stretch fabric, and the straps use a new construction that Q36.5 describes as light and breathable.
Chamois and Fit
The pad is the Fusion Women's Chamois. It is sewn and thermo-moulded into a single insert, with high-density, breathable foam placed to reduce friction points. Q36.5 pairs it with its C-Interface crotch construction, which has no central seams and is meant to reduce pressure on the saddle.
The cut is a pre-shaped, three-dimensional construction with minimal seams and strategically placed panels. Q36.5 calls it the Fusion Lady design. Reflective inserts on the calves add visibility on dark winter roads, and the raw edges are laser cut. The tights are made in Italy, with production inside a 350 square kilometer radius of Q36.5's Bolzano headquarters.
