The Q36.5 Adventure Cargo Bib Shorts - Womens are a women's cycling bib short with a pocket cut into each thigh, built for warm-weather road and gravel riding. Q36.5 based them on its Gregarius Pro bib, and the idea is simple: you get storage on the shorts themselves, so a long gravel day does not depend on jersey pockets alone.
Pockets cut into the leg panel
The two thigh pockets are cut directly into the fabric of each leg rather than stitched on, which keeps seams to a minimum and means there is no extra panel to catch or flap. Q36.5 says they hold items like an ID, cards, nutrition or other small things. Capacity is not published, so think of them as space for small items, not a place for a phone and a jacket. Reflective elements are placed on the legs so that movement draws attention in low light.
Fabric, chamois and fit
The woven fabric is 71% polyamide, 26% elastane and 3% silver. The silver is woven into the fabric as thread, which Q36.5 says improves the body's ability to expel heat and works as an antimicrobial, anti-odor treatment that does not wash out. A high-density woven panel at the back adds compression through the lower back and glutes, and Q36.5 describes the fabric elsewhere as less compressive, so the support is concentrated where long days tend to wear on you. The leg openings are raw cut and, according to Q36.5, stay in place without silicone inside the hem. The shoulder straps are wide with raw edges and are described as well ventilated. The cut is a standard fit, and the inseam is longer than on some of Q36.5's other bibs.
The chamois is Q36.5's Q-Lab Air, which uses multi-density C-shaped foam with a relief channel intended to reduce numbness on longer rides. The shorts weigh 185 grams in a medium. They come in Black, Nautica Blue and Drab Green, and sizes run from XXS to XL, with waist measurements of 56cm to 80cm on the size chart.
The Adventure Cargo suits riders who spend long days on gravel or road in warm weather and want to carry small items on the shorts. If you need to carry more, a jersey or saddle bag is still the answer.
