Pivot Shuttle AM Pro X0 Eagle Transmission Bike w/Range Extender Info

The Pivot Shuttle AM Pro X0 Eagle Transmission Bike w/Range Extender is the Pro-tier build in Pivot's Shuttle AM lineup, the all-mountain e-bike Pivot built to climb hard and descend with trail-bike composure. Where the Team build runs Fox suspension, this Pro spec pairs a 160mm-travel RockShox ZEB Ultimate fork with a RockShox Super Deluxe Ultimate shock controlling 150mm out back — RockShox's top-tier enduro suspension, tuned specifically for the Shuttle AM chassis. The carbon frame keeps the package manageable for a full-power eMTB, and this build ships with Bosch's PowerMore 250 range extender included, giving it more usable range than the standard Shuttle AM battery setup out of the box.

Power comes from Bosch's Gen 5 Performance Line CX Race Edition motor, running on an 800Wh internal battery boosted by the included PowerMore 250 — a bottle-shaped, 3.3-pound unit that bolts to the frame for another 250Wh without meaningfully changing the bike's balance. The Bosch Flow app switches between Turbo, Sport, and eMTB-shortcrank modes, or hands pacing to the newer eMTB+ mode, which reads pedal input and trail conditions in real time and adjusts assist accordingly. On a bike built around long days and big vertical, that extra battery capacity is the difference between planning a route around your charge and just riding until you're done.

SRAM's X0 Eagle Transmission drives the rear end, mounting directly to the frame instead of through a replaceable derailleur hanger — a detail that matters more on an e-bike putting down serious torque, since it removes the small aluminum bracket that would otherwise take the brunt of hard impacts and high-load shifts. It's paired with a 10-52t XS-1275 cassette and X0 Eagle Flattop chain for a wide enough range to grind up steep fire road or spin through technical singletrack, shifted through SRAM's AXS Pod Controller. A Praxis Alloy eCranks E-MTB crankset with a 34t ring is built to take the motor's added torque, and SRAM Maven Silver four-piston brakes on 200mm HS2 rotors bring enough stopping power to manage the extra weight and speed that come with a mid-drive motor on sustained descents.

DT Swiss HXC1501 carbon wheels, built on DT Swiss 350 hubs, carry Maxxis's Minion DHF up front and Minion DHR II out back in 3C/EXO+/MaxxTerra casings — a front-specific, rear-specific tire pairing that's become the standard setup for aggressive all-mountain and enduro riding, giving cornering bite where you need it and a faster-rolling, more durable casing where you don't. The RockShox ZEB Ultimate's chassis is built for stability under hard braking and high-speed impacts, and the Super Deluxe Ultimate shock keeps the 150mm rear end active and controlled without wallowing under power, a pairing suited to riders who spend as much time descending rough terrain as they do climbing to get there.

Cockpit and contact points are Pivot's own Phoenix components — a Race Low Rise carbon handlebar on a Team Enduro/Trail stem, a Pivot Pro E-Bike saddle, and a OneUp Dropper V3 post that scales from 150mm on a small frame to 210mm on a large or XL. Geometry runs a 64.1 to 64.5-degree head angle and 76.5 to 76.9-degree seat angle across the size run, steep enough to climb efficiently and slack enough to stay composed once the trail points down. The Shuttle AM Pro X0 Eagle Transmission Bike w/Range Extender is for riders who want RockShox's top-tier enduro suspension, a mechless drivetrain built to handle real torque, and the extra battery capacity to turn a long day in the mountains into a longer one, available in Badlands Brown and Blue Dark Sky from size S to XL.

The RA Perspective

We like this Pro X0 build for a specific reason: it's the version of the Shuttle AM that shows up ready for an actual full day in the mountains rather than a couple of laps. The included PowerMore range extender isn't an afterthought here — riders who've added it to other e-bikes as an accessory tend to forget it's there until a shuttle run runs long, and having it built into the spec from the start changes how you plan a ride.

RockShox's ZEB Ultimate and Super Deluxe Ultimate are a step up from what most riders expect at this price point, and they show it on rough, fast descents — the fork holds its line under hard braking better than a lot of single-crown forks in this travel range. SRAM's X0 Eagle Transmission has been reliable in our experience, though it's worth knowing the Maven Silver brakes, while strong, don't have quite the outright bite of the Ultimate-level calipers on the Team build.

Weight is the honest tradeoff. This is a bike built around assist, not one you're going to wheelie over roots on a whim, and riders coming from a lighter analog enduro bike should expect some adjustment on tight, low-speed switchbacks.

This build makes the most sense for riders planning long backcountry days or shuttle laps where charge anxiety is a real concern — the extra battery capacity is the whole point.
