Pivot Shuttle SL/AM Pro X0 Eagle Transmission Bike Info
Pivot Shuttle SL/AM Pro X0 Eagle Transmission Bike pairs Pivot's ultralight, all-mountain enduro geometry with Bosch's lightest e-bike motor. At $11,199, it's the top build on the Shuttle SL/AM platform, and Pivot built this bike to weigh under 40 pounds while still delivering real e-bike assist, a different tradeoff than the heavier, full-power e-MTBs most riders are used to.
The motor is a Bosch Performance Line SX, which Bosch positions as its lightest and most compact e-bike motor, putting out up to 600 watts of peak power and 55Nm of torque from a compact 400Wh in-frame battery. That's a smaller battery and lower peak output than a full-size Bosch Performance CX system, and it's a deliberate tradeoff: less weight and a more natural, bike-like feel underfoot rather than maximum range or maximum assist. Riders who want more range can add Bosch's optional PowerMore 250 range extender, a bottle-shaped 250Wh unit that mounts to the frame and weighs about 3.3 pounds. The Pivot x Bosch Flow app controls the system and offers seven ride modes, including Turbo, an eMTB-shortcrank mode, Sport, and Tour+, along with maintenance reminders and real-time range estimates.
The frame itself borrows its all-mountain DNA from Pivot's non-motorized Switchblade, carried over into a carbon chassis with 150mm of rear travel and Pivot's dw-link suspension design, paired with a Fox Factory 36 fork running 160mm of travel up front. Pivot builds this XS size with mixed 27.5/29-inch wheels, a first for this platform, specifically aimed at giving smaller riders proper handling and confidence rather than a scaled-down version of a bike built for a taller rider. Suspension tuning is aimed at quick, efficient climbing without giving up composure on rough, technical descents, which is the balance a lighter e-MTB has to strike since it can't lean on raw power to make up for a soft, wallowy chassis.
This build runs SRAM's X0 AXS Eagle Transmission drivetrain, a direct-mount rear derailleur that bolts straight to the frame's UDH interface rather than a replaceable hanger, paired with wireless AXS Pod Controller shifters and a 12-speed, 10-52 cassette for a wide gear range on steep, technical climbs. A Praxis Alloy eCranks E-MTB-specific crankset with a 34t chainring handles the pedaling side, and SRAM Motive Silver 4-piston brakes on 200mm HS2 rotors provide the stopping power an e-bike's added weight and speed demand. DT Swiss XM1700 wheels on DT Swiss 350 hubs, a OneUp V3 dropper post sized to each frame size, and Maxxis Minion DHF and DHRII tires in 3C MaxxTerra compound with EXO+ casing round out a build meant for genuine trail and enduro riding, not just fire-road cruising.
The Shuttle SL/AM Pro X0 Eagle Transmission is available in Jaclyn Purple, Gloss Grey, and Brownstone across sizes XS through XL. For a rider who wants e-bike assist on technical singletrack without hauling around a 50-plus-pound bike, this is Pivot's answer: enduro-capable geometry, a motor tuned for feel over brute power, and a build kit that can handle real trail abuse.
